Course Timings: 12.00pm-5.00pm – The Health and Safety in the Construction Environment Level 1 course is aimed at anyone starting to work, in construction as a labourer and needing to apply for a CSCS card. You will also need the CITB test.
This course normally takes 1/2 day with an exam at the end. If successful, your certificate can take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
The course is designed to be undertaken in one day or half a day, however we are happy to work with all candidates and increase the time frame if necessary.
Please Note: If you are applying for a green (Labourer’s CSCS card, it is now a mandatory requirement for you to complete both a Health and Safety Course as well as the CITB Health Safety and Environment Test (http://www.citb.co.uk/cards-testing/health-safety-environment-test/).

Entry Requirements: There are no prerequisites for this qualification, however it is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in Literacy and Numeracy.
How long will the course take?
This qualification is typically delivered on a 1/2 day course between 12.00pm-5.00pm, learners will be able to book slots for their examination depending on what suits their schedule.
How is the qualification assessed?
This qualification is assessed through a 40-question multiple-choice question examination. The duration of the examination is 60 minutes. Successful learners will be notified of their results within 1 week from examination.
Every candidate will obtain a certificate that states the newly achieved qualification (approx. 2 weeks) after the course.
