First Aid Refresher Course – £30/person – yearly session
The First Aid Refresher Course must be attended every 12 months by everyone with an in date certificate.
The Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE – government) guidance is that in order to stay up to date with our First Aid skills, knowledge and legal responsibilities we should attend a yearly First Aid refresher course and skills training. This takes a couple of hours (3 hours approx.) while we remind ourselves the CPR maneuvers (using a manikin), recovery position as well as the most common types of accidents and injuries: burns, chocking, contusions, fractures, etc. This session is mostly practical with the new subjects introduced in the current year and guidelines from the Resuscitation Council.
